Romanian outlet Sport.Ro claim Galatasaray have seen a £6m bid rejected by Rangers for Ianis Hagi – with Jose Mourinho also keeping tabs. Ibrox ace Hagi is still in rehab undergoing recovery from a long-term knee injury.
Hagi, 23, suffered a long-term knee issue during a 4-0 win over Stirling Albion in the Scottish Cup earlier this season. It has kept the Romania international sidelined until now, with the midfielder still in rehab.

Despite that, Hagi is attracting interest. His father of course, is a former player and manager of Galatasaray and they are said to have tabled a bid worth £6million – but Rangers have rejected said offer.
Roma are also keeping tabs and had it not been for the injury, it is believed that Mourinho would have also made an offer. Hagi currently has two years remaining on his current Rangers deal, where he has played 85 times.
Rangers reject £6m Galatasaray bid for Hagi: Mourinho also keen
Hagi remains an important part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers side. Amad Diallo was brought in on loan but he did not live up to expectations. When fit, Hagi is expected to be a key player at Ibrox.
But he is a player that is constantly linked with an exit, and the chance to represent his Father’s former club would certainly be tempting. As would a move to Roma – though there are questions marks over his game time.
He would hardly start for Roma and be a squad player under Mourinho, though tempting to play for such an illustrious club. His best move this summer is to remain at Ibrox and get fit, for the 2022-23 campaign.
