According to The Scottish Sun, Mexican internationals Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera have been granted work permits to join Rangers – but they will have to go through the whole process again for Alfredo Morelos.
After a disappointing third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership, manager Pedro Caixinha was always going to overhaul his squad, having been appointed back in March.

So far, Caixinha has brought in four new faces, with defenders Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso joining the Gers alongside midfielder Ryan Jack and winger Dalcio.
Caixinha isn’t done there though, and after deals for Mexican international duo Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera were agreed, the pair have been granted work permits to join the club according to The Scottish Sun.

Midfielder Pena, 27, has featured for Pachuca and Club Leon, but will be joining Rangers from Chivas Guadalajara, where he hit eight goals in 31 games, whilst he also has 19 caps for Mexico.
28-year-old compatriot Herrera will also join Rangers, with the burly centre forward set to arrive from UNAM. Herrera played under Caixinha during a loan spell with Santos Laguna, and they will be hoping for a fruitful second stint together at Ibrox.
Alfredo Morelos (R)
Whilst Rangers have managed to land work permits for both players, they are going to have to do it all again in order to sign Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos from HJK Helsinki.
Morelos, 20, has been a goalscoring sensation in Finland, and whilst it’s claimed that a £1million deal has been agreed for him to join Rangers, he will need a work permit to join, with Rangers hoping to make it a hat-trick of successes on that front.
