Rangers are closing in on the signing of Albanian winger Eros Grezda.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are poised to confirm the signing of Osijek winger Eros Grezda today – but they are still negotiating the sell-on clause in the deal.
The Gers made it 12 summer signings last week by snapping up striker Kyle Lafferty from Hearts, but new boss Steven Gerrard isn’t done in the transfer market just yet.
With winger Jamie Murphy out for the season with a major knee injury, Rangers need to bring in another wide man, and they have chosen something of a surprise transfer to pursue.
The Scottish Sun report that Rangers have activated the £1.8million release clause in Eros Grezda’s Osijek contract, and his move to Ibrox should be confirmed today.
The Albanian winger is all set for a move to Glasgow, but it is noted that Rangers are one step away from sealing the deal, with the sell-on clause still being negotiated between the two clubs, with Osijek seeking a 20% sell-on.
Grezda, 23, hit eight goals for Osijek last season following a move from Lokomotiva last summer, whilst he also has six caps and one goal for Albania on the international stage.

Rangers have already snapped up Grezda’s former Osijek teammate Borna Barisic as well as Slaven Belupo defender Nikola Katic, with a third signing from a Croatian side imminent – as soon as the clubs can agree on the sell-on clause involved in the deal.
