Rangers could finally bring winger Jamie Walker to Ibrox on deadline day.

According to The Scottish Sun, Jamie Walker’s move to Rangers could be back on, after Hearts entered talks over a part-exchange deal involving Gers midfielder Jason Holt.
The Gers may have added 11 new signings this summer, with the likes of Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Graham Dorrans and Alfredo Morelos all arriving, but Rangers are still in the market for new additions even after landing Cardiff City’s Declan John earlier today.
With cover landed at left back in John, the attention turns back to adding another winger, having been chasing Hearts wide man Jamie Walker for much of the summer.

As reported by BBC Sport earlier this summer, Rangers failed with two bids for Walker, who has been angling for a move away from Tynecastle having rejected a new contract, and with his current deal set to expire this summer, Rangers have been hoping to strike a deal.
With the transfer window entering its final hours, some Rangers fans had given up hope of landing Walker, but The Scottish Sun now report that a deal could be back on amid talks over a potential swap deal.
It’s claimed that Rangers won’t pay the £1million asking price on Walker’s head, which has sparked talks over a cash-plus-player deal, though one possible move has already been knocked back.

The report states that Hearts wanted to bring Rangers defender Danny Wilson back to the club as part of the deal, but after the Gers rejected that bid, talks are underway to send Jason Holt back to Tynecastle instead.
Holt, 24, came up through the ranks with Hearts and spent 13 years with the club before leaving for Rangers in 2015, but having been forced down the pecking order by the likes of Jack, Dorrans and Carlos Pena, the diminutive midfielder could end up re-signing for Hearts.
That would see Rangers finally land Walker, bringing pace and dynamism out wide, as well as goals having found the net 15 times in all competitions last season – and it now remains to be seen whether the two clubs can strike an agreement before tonight’s deadline.
