Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty could leave Ibrox this summer.

According to Sunday Life in Northern Ireland, Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty is now wanted by clubs in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
The Gers pounced to bring Lafferty back to Ibrox last summer, signing him from Hearts six years after he left the club on a free transfer for Sion.
After 20 goals in 48 games for Hearts, it was felt that Lafferty could have a real impact in the Rangers attack, but he struggled massively under Steven Gerrard, scoring just seven times in 37 games in all competitions.
Lafferty finds himself third choice in the Rangers pecking order, and having barely featured towards the end of the season, he’s expected to move on again this summer.
The 31-year-old allegedly has interested from Cyprus with AEL Limassol and Apollon Limassol, but now teams in Qatar and Saudi Arabia allegedly want to lure him to the Middle East.
That would be a money-spinning move for Lafferty, which may be difficult to turn down as he approaches 32, and he’d be likely to play more regularly too.

Lafferty has shown in the past that he’s not afraid of making bold moves abroad, having turned out for Sion, Palermo and Caykur Rizespor, so heading off to the Middle East wouldn’t be a huge shock.
Rangers won’t be in a position to demand a hefty fee for Lafferty, but it’s best for all parties that he moves on, and earning himself a big contract in Qatar or Saudi Arabia may well appeal.
