According to a report, Josh Windass is one of Glasgow Rangers’ players who could be available to leave Ibrox this summer.
Rangers’ Josh Windass is being linked with a move away from Ibrox
A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that Rangers midfielder Josh Windass is being targeted by League One trio Fleetwood Town, MK Dons and Peterborough United.
Windass, like many of his teammates, endured a fairly difficult season with the Gers. Following his move from Accrington Stanley, there were glimpses that suggested that he could become a bright player for the Light Blues.
Windass arrived from Accrington Stanley last summer
Though he failed to find the back of the net in the Scottish Premiership, he did contribute five assists in the top flight. However, it appears that he has divided supporters with some feeling that he needed to provide more to vindicate the club’s decision to sign him in the first place.
And it seems that Pedro Caixinha may agree with those who are not fully convinced by Windass, as The Scottish Sun is now suggesting that he may be one of the players who may be allowed to leave the club this summer.

And it appears that Windass will have no shortage of offers if he is indeed free to move on, with The Scottish Sun reporting that the three League One sides are keen to pursue a deal this during the coming months.
Although some may feel that the attacking midfielder perhaps deserves more time to make a major impact at Ibrox, it may not be too great a surprise if Caixinha decides to give an exit the green light if a tempting bid comes in.
Caixinha is undoubtedly putting his stamp on the team this summer, so it is perhaps fair to assume that a number of the players who were with the club before his arrival may have concerns about whether they feature prominently in his plans – and perhaps Windass may be one of those players.
