Dorrans left Rangers’ training camp on Thursday due to pain in his ankle, and the midfielder could now reportedly not be ready for Steven Gerrard’s side’s opening game of the new season against Shkupi in the Europa League qualifiers on July 12.

Concern for Dorrans
Dorrans suffered an ankle injury during the final weeks of the past season, and it will be a concern for the 31-year-old that the problem persists.
Hopefully for the Scotland international, the specialist he will reportedly see in Leeds will be able to sort the issue.

Stats
Dorrans has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Norwich City in the Championship in England for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £750,000.
The 31-year-old former West Bromwich Albion midfielder featured in 16 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this past season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the process, according to Transfermarkt.com.
