Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Brentford-owned Eibar midfielder Jota in the January transfer window.
Rangers are interested in signing Brentford midfielder Jota in the January transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
Jota, who is 25 years of age and plays as an attacking midfielder, is currently on loan at Spanish club Eibar from Brentford.
Warburton, who was appointed the Rangers manager in the summer of 2015, signed the Spaniard for Brentford in 2014.
According to The Scottish Sun, the Rangers boss has enquired about a loan move for the attacking midfielder.

The former Celta de Vigo man has created two chances in four La Liga appearances for Eibar so far this season, according to Squawka.com.
Warburton was recently quoted as saying by The Glasgow Evening Times that he is planning to sign a midfielder in the January transfer window.
The Englishman revealed that midfielder is an overseas one, and that his arrival will excite the Rangers fans.

With Niko Kranjcar, Jordan Rossiter and Josh Windass all injured at the moment and Joe Barton leaving, it is clear that Rangers need to sign a midfielder in January.
Rangers will take on Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
