According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are likely to move on from loanee Florian Kamberi as he attracts interest from elsewhere.

It’s claimed that Rangers are currently focusing their attentions elsewhere. Livingston’s Lyndon Dykes now appears to be Steven Gerrard’s top striker target.

That leaves Kamberi’s future up in the air. He joined Rangers on loan back in January, with a view to a permanent move come the end of the season.

No fee was agreed in the loan move, and Hibs are now in talks to sell Kamberi elsewhere. At least one club is allegedly speaking to Hibs about a deal.

Five teams in England, Poland, Turkey, Cyprus and Germany are believed to be pushing for Kamberi, with his time in Scotland seemingly coming to an end.

The Glasgow Evening Times note that Rangers haven’t ruled out signing Kamberi just yet, but a permanent stay no longer looks likely for him.

The 25-year-old has actually fared well at Ibrox. In nine appearances for the Gers, he contributed one goal and two assists, and also performed an admirable job away at Braga in the Europa League.

Kamberi may not be a priority for Rangers, and it may well be that they miss out entirely as a host of other clubs prepare to swoop in.
