Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have been rejected by Hearts again in a bid to sign Jamie Walker.

Hearts have rejected a £600,000 bid from Rangers for Jamie Walker, according to The Edinburgh Evening News.
The Gers saw a £500,000 bid knocked back earlier this week and Jambos boss Ian Cathro told STV that only a £1 million offer would prise him from Tynecastle.

And although Rangers seemingly did up their bid, The Edinburgh Evening News claims that it was only by an additional £100k.
The report goes to state that the Ibrox club are still “way short” in matching Hearts’ valuation of the midfielder.

It would appear as if Hearts are holding firm on Walker, who has rejected the chance to extend his contract beyond its 2018 expiration.
They are forced to listen to offers or lose him for free in 12 months, but if Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha really wants him then improved bids of £600k, after a £500k offer was rejected, probably won’t accomplish much.
Caixinha has brought five new faces to the Glasgow giants this summer.
Daniel Candeias is the latest addition to the playing staff after the former Benfica man followed Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Fabio Cardoso and Dalcio – on loan – to Ibrox.
