According to DZ Foot, Rangers are interested in signing Ahmed Kendouci, a player who is also said to be a target for Celtic.

Well, it seems as if Rangers and Celtic are going head-to-head in a transfer battle to bring the 22-year-old to Glasgow.
DZ Foot believe the Scottish giants are both ‘highly interested’ in the ES Sétif midfielder, who has been impressing in Algeria.
Kendouci has scored three goals in ten league outings this season, having scored 11 goals while also providing 11 assists last term.
DZ Foot state that Rangers or Celtic are yet to submit an offer for the Algerian, although ES Sétif would not be greedy if approached.
By the sounds of it, they’d be open to selling their No.6 with little fuss.
Elsewhere, Liberte claim that Celtic have even asked former Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra for more information on Kendouci.
What could Ahmed Kendouci bring to Rangers or Celtic?
For one, the Algerian will provide Ange Postecoglou or Giovanni van Bronckhorst with great versatility.
As Transfermarkt shows, Kendouci can operate in a defensive midfield role, as well as in central midfield or even further forward as a No.10.
He has also appeared on the left flank this season.
Total Football Analysis even wrote a detailed scouting report on Kendouci, in which his creativity in possession is described as being “out of this world”.
In our view, it’s hard to believe Kendouci hasn’t been capped by Algeria yet, although he surely has a bright future with the national team ahead of him.
The only negative found by Total Football Analysis is Kendouci’s defensive work, which he sometimes neglects despite having the physical attributes to carry them out effectively.
