Rangers are reportedly interested in luring Wigan Athletic’s Max Power to Ibrox.
According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are looking to sign Wigan Athletic midfielder Max Power this summer, but face competition from Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday.
The Gers have added nine new faces this summer, and three of those are midfielders, as Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena and Graham Dorrans have all arrived at Ibrox.

Manager Pedro Caixinha also has Jordan Rossiter, Jason Holt and Niko Kranjcar at his disposal in midfield, but the Portuguese boss may still be keen to add one more midfielder to his Ibrox ranks.
The Daily Mail report that Rangers are one of three clubs interested in signing Wigan Athletic midfielder Max Power, with Championship clubs Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday believed to be keen as well.
It’s claimed that Power has asked to leave Wigan in order to return to a higher level following the Latics’ relegation, and manager Paul Cook has frozen him out of the first team as a result.
The wantaway midfielder is now believed to be available for just £500,000, and that has alerted Rangers, as well as Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday as we enter the final month of the transfer window.
Power, 24, came up through the ranks with Tranmere Rovers before earning a 2015 move to Wigan, and he notched six assists in 42 Championship appearances last season.
A box-to-box midfield player who showed promise in the Championship last term, Power could be a bargain for just £500,000 – but whether another midfielder is a priority for Rangers is another matter.
