Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in Josh Magennis.

It has been reported that Rangers are in talks with representatives of Magennis, who has a year left on his contract at Bolton Wanderers.
However, according to the report, with Bolton having entered into administration, the 28-year-old striker could be sold or simply allowed to leave on a free transfer.
Good signing for Rangers?
Magennis joined Bolton from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by The Belfast Telegraph to be worth £400,000.
The 28-year-old striker made 29 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Trotters this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

The Northern Ireland international striker has played in Scotland before, having featured for Aberdeen, St. Mirren and Kilmarnock.
The former Cardiff City striker is not a very prolific striker, and it is hard to see him establish himself as the number one player up from for Steven Gerrard’s side.
