Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring former Gers midfielder Derek McInnes from Aberdeen.

Rangers are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Pedro Caixinha from Ibrox.
Caixinha was recently relieved from his duties at the Gers due to a run of poor results and performances.

McInnes, a former Rangers midfielder, is in charge of Aberdeen, and he is doing a wonderful job at Pittodrie Stadium.
The Dons are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 26 points from 11 matches, just a point behind leaders Celtic.

According to The Gambling Times, Rangers are hoping to strike a deal with Aberdeen to recruit McInnes.
It has been reported that the Gers are ready to step up their interest in the former Scotland international midfielder, but the Dons would demand full compensation for the 46-year-old.
Rangers are fourth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 21 points from 11 matches, a point behind third-placed Hibernian, who have played a game more.
