Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have reportedly missed out on Michael Ruth to Aberdeen.

It has been reported that Ruth had a trial at Rangers in the summer of 2018 and played for the Gers in a tournament in Dusseldorf.
Rangers monitored the development of the 17-year-old centre-forward this season, and so did Aberdeen and Hibernian, according to the report.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that Ruth is leaving Queen’s Park and joining Aberdeen, with a spokesman for the Scottish League Two club claiming that he is heading to the Pittodrie Stadium.

Missing out
Ruth is a very good centre-forward and has a bright future ahead of him, and Rangers will be a bit disappointed that the Gers have reportedly missed out on him.
However, given that he is only 17 years of age, Rangers can still land the forward in the coming years if he develops well at Aberdeen as he is expected to, and the Gers can then put him straight in the first team.
