According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are set to send winger Glenn Middleton on loan to St Johnstone for the rest of the season.
It’s claimed that Middleton’s move will go through this morning, after St Johnstone agreed a deal with Steven Gerrard’s men.
Middleton will allegedly go straight into the St Johnstone squad to take on Aberdeen on Wednesday, with Callum Davidson desperate for a winger.
He wants to add pace to his St Johnstone side, and has now decided that Middleton is the man to provide that for the rest of the season.
Middleton, 21, was a Graeme Murty favourite having worked with him at Norwich City before then joining him at Rangers in 2018.
The Scot impressed in his first season under Steven Gerrard, bagging five goals in 28 games, but things have been difficult for him since.

Loan spells with Hibernian and Bradford City didn’t work out, and he has spent most of this season out of the first-team barring a brief appearance at left back against Falkirk.
Middleton needs this move to work; if he endures a third tricky loan spell, then Rangers may well feel that it’s best for them to move on for good.
