The Portuguese endured a nightmare three months in charge of Rangers.

According to a report from the Daily Record, former Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has turned down the Mexico national team manager’s job.
The Portuguese endured a torrid time during his spell as Gers boss after taking over in the summer of 2017, and eventually lost his job in October.
Rangers have gone from strength to strength since Caixinha’s dismissal, and they look like a totally transformed side under the guidance of Steven Gerrard.
The 47-year-old was then handed the reigns at Mexican side Cruz Azul in December, and he has fared far better than he ever did at Rangers.
He won the Copa MX last month and is battling for their first title in 21 years.

The Daily Record claims that his fine work in Mexico has not gone unnoticed, with the national team manager’s job being offered to him.
Caixinha turned the role down, however, and will continue in his role as Cruz Azul boss.
Will Rangers fans be left wondering what might have been? Not likely…
