Rangers are reportedly set to make a new bid for Hearts ace Jamie Walker.

According to Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (15:10), Rangers are expected to make a new bid for Hearts winger Jamie Walker before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
The Gers have snapped up ten new signings this summer, as Pedro Caixinha’s Ibrox revolution has seen Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Graham Dorrans, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Aaron Nemane, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos have all arrived at Ibrox.
Caixinha revamped his squad with the intention of at least nailing down second place, and hopefully challenging Celtic, but two wins, a draw and a defeat so far this season mean Caixinha still has work to do.

Many Rangers fans are keen to see another winger arrive at Ibrox before Thursday’s transfer deadline, and Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (15:10) report that the Gers are likely to make a new bid for Hearts star Jamie Walker in the next 48 hours.
As reported by BBC Sport, Rangers have already failed with two bids for Walker this summer, with Hearts attempting to stand firm on Walker’s future, despite him turning down a new contract earlier this summer.
Walker is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning that they lose him for nothing to a pre-contract agreement in January – and Rangers may now hope that they can force Hearts into taking the money before the transfer deadline.

Walker, 24, hit 15 goals in all competitions for Hearts last season, and Caixinha may well view him as the final piece of the Rangers puzzle, as he looks to find a consistent supply to promising striker Alfredo Morelos.
With Walker allegedly keen on a move to Ibrox, this is one deal which may well get done before the transfer deadline, with Rangers hoping that Hearts will finally agree to a deal over the next two days.
