Kenny Miller’s current deal at Ibrox expires at the end of the season, but Glasgow Rangers may look to keep him in some capacity.
Rangers’ Kenny Miller
A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that Kenny Miller may well remain at Rangers next season, but not just as a player in Pedro Caixinha’s squad.
Miller’s contract at Ibrox expires at the end of the current campaign, and The Scottish Sun reports that the Gers hierarchy are considering offering fresh terms, with Caixinha contemplating handing the 37-year-old the chance to be a part of his backroom team.
According to The Scottish Sun, the veteran is a leading candidate for the first-team coach role due to his desire to get into coaching, as well as the admiration and respect for him within the current squad.
The Scottish Sun adds that Miller could continue to play for the Light Blues while he takes on the role, which, based on this season, may be a tremendous boost for the side.

Although he has not exactly been prolific this term, he is still Rangers’ top goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership with six strikes to his name.
And unlike some of the other players within the current squad, the amount of effort he puts in can rarely be questioned as he often has a presence in both penalty areas, helping the side defensively as well as further up the pitch, so keeping him at the club in some capacity would surely be a wise decision for Caixinha.
