Rangers will need to pay £1.2 million to sign Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to The Scottish Sun.

The Gers were linked with the Championship man last week but a £700,000 offer was said to have been knocked back by the Canaries.

Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha returned and tabled a £1 million offer for the 30-year-old Glaswegian, according to The Express.

But The Scottish Sun reported this morning that £1.2m was needed to prise the former West Brom man from Carrow Road this summer.

That being said, the report went to claim that Rangers were confident of that bid being enough to sign Dorrans.

The Mail reported last week that Sheffield Wednesday were ready to hijack the deal but Rangers’ latest bid may be enough to get the deal done.

Dorrans would become the fifth Gers’ signing of the summer, with Caixinha bringing Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Dalcio and Fabio Cardoso to Ibrox already.
