Murphy could become Rangers’ second new recruit in as many days after Sean Goss’s arrival at Ibrox.

Rangers are close to reaching an agreement over Jamie Murphy’s transfer to Ibrox, the Scottish Sun reports.
And it is said that a deal for the Brighton & Hove Albion winger could be completed by the end of Thursday, with a medical possible before the day is out.
Barring any hiccups, it is claimed Murphy will sign a three-and-a-half-year deal at Rangers – the club he grew up supporting in Glasgow.

Murphy, who played for Motherwell and Sheffield United before moving to Brighton in 2015, could become Graeme Murty’s second new recruit in as many days, after the temporaray capture of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sean Goss.
Loan winger Aaron Nemane looks set to leave Ibrox for Go Ahead Eagles, the Dutch side’s manager told Fox Sports on Wednesday, clearing the way for the 28-year-old’s arrival.

Midfielder Carlos Pena could also depart, after being tipped to reunite with Pedro Caixinha – the manger who brought him to Rangers last summer – at Cruz Azul (Daily Record).
