According to Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat, Rangers are closing in on the signature of HJK Helsinki striker Alfredo Morelos.
The Gers have been busy in the transfer market over the last fortnight, bringing centre backs Fabio Cardoso and Bruno Alves to Ibrox, as well as midfielder Ryan Jack and winger Dalcio.

With deals for Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera hinging on work permit applications, Rangers could quickly have six new faces through the door – and manager Pedro Caixinha still has more work to do.
Now, Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat report that Rangers have reached an agreement to sign HJK Helsinki striker Alfredo Morelos, with a deal close.
General view outside Ibrox
Morelos, 20, joined HJK from Independiente Medellin on a permanent basis earlier this year following a successful loan spell, and he could be one of the top under-the-radar strikers for Rangers to target.
With 21 goals in his last 25 games for HJK, Morelos has taken Finnish football by storm, and it has long been considered that he would swiftly win a move to a bigger club.

Rangers now appear to have made their move for Morelos, with the Finnish press claiming that the Colombian hitman – who has ten caps for his country at youth level – is closing in on a move to Ibrox after the two clubs struck a deal.
It is noted that Morelos will need a work permit, much like Pena and Herrera, but Rangers have set the wheels in motion for a deal to land another striker alongside Herrera, which could throw the futures of Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn in further doubt.
