Celtic will challenge Pedro Caixinha’s Rangers for Lewis Morgan, ahead of next week’s clash at Ibrox.

According to The Daily Mail, Celtic and Rangers will challenge Swansea City for the signing of Lewis Morgan in January.
The 20-year-old midfielder is out of contract with St Mirren at the end of this season, with his club rejecting a £200,000 bid from Championship side Burton Albion in the summer.
Morgan began his career at Rangers, before joining the Saints in 2014 and, according to The Daily Mail, the Ibrox side and Celtic are interested in signing him this January.

The report goes on to claim that Morgan is also being tracked by Swansea and their bitter South-Welsh rivals Cardiff City.
The talented youngster has already netted three times in six Scottish Championship outings so far this season and it would appear as if he is out-growing the Buddies.

With Celtic and Rangers battling for his signature, the Old Firm enemies also go head to head on the pitch next weekend at Ibrox for the first local derby of the season.
The Hoops smashed Ross County 4-0 on Saturday evening, after Pedro Caixinha’s side fluffed the chance to move top last night by drawing 2-2 with 10-man Partick Thistle.
