Rangers are reportedly cooling their interest in winger Jordan Jones.

According to The Scottish Herald, Rangers are backing away from their interest in signing Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones having failed with a bid this month.
The Gers are in the market for new signings even after a busy month already, having brought in Russell Martin, Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings on loan this month.
Manager Graeme Murty remains keen on bringing in new signings, and another winger appears to be on his radar, even after landing Murphy from Brighton and Hove Albion.

A bid for Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones – believed to be in the region of £350,000 according to the Daily Record – was rejected last week, and it doesn’t seem like Rangers will be back with a new offer.
The Scottish Herald report that Rangers are cooling their interest in Jones, with Kilmarnock suggesting that their £350,000 bid was nowhere near the valuation.
Jones, 22, came up through the ranks with Middlesbrough, but left the Riverside Stadium in 2016 after just one first-team appearance for Boro, and he has thrived with Kilmarnock.

The wide man has hit six goals in 67 games for Killie, and his impressive displays at Rugby Park even led to him earning his first Northern Ireland cap in 2017.
A pacey winger with an eye for goal, Jones could yet be a smart addition to Murty’s side, but it remains to be seen whether Rangers eventually come back with a new bid having failed once already.
