Rangers are reportedly looking to bring striker Karlan Grant to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers want to land Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Grant on a pre-contract agreement.
The Gers have already tied up four signings this month, landing Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe on loan whilst also striking pre-contract agreements with midfielder Glen Kamara and winger Jordan Jones.
Rangers could still look to add more new signing to strengthen their title pursuit, but another pre-contract agreement could be in the pipeline for Gerrard and director of football Mark Allen.
The Scottish Sun report that Rangers are keen on Charlton striker Grant, with the Addicks ‘aware’ that the Gers are attempting to tie up a pre-contract agreement.
Brentford have already had a £500,000 bid rejected for Grant this month, but Charlton would stand to earn much less in compensation should Rangers sign him on a pre-contract agreement due to cross-border contract rules.
Rangers can force a bargain deal as they aren’t an English club, just as they have in the past for Matt Crooks, Josh Windass, Joe Dodoo and Jordan Rossiter.

Grant, 21, has come up through the Charlton ranks, and has impressed this season with 13 goals in 27 outings for Lee Bowyer’s side.
A speedy forward who can also play out wide, Grant has huge potential and could even be seen as the long-term replacement for star striker Alfredo Morelos.
