According to Voetbal 24, Rangers are not giving up in their pursuit of Anderlecht striker Kemar Roofe.
It’s claimed that Rangers have already made one attempt to sign Roofe this summer, tu failed to bring him to Ibrox.
The Gers have ‘not given up the fight’ according to this report, and Anderlecht may now actually be willing to part ways with Roofe.
The report states that selling Roofe would be ‘important’ for Anderlecht because they need the income, and bringing in around €6million (£5.5million) would help them sign players themselves.
Rangers are almost certain to ramp up their attempts to bring in a new striker, having seen Jermain Defoe pick up a hamstring injury last night.
Alfredo Morelos will need more support up top, and with Florian Kamberi now seeming unlikely to return, Steven Gerrard may need to look elsewhere.

Roofe is one option, with the 27-year-old offering a source of goals and assists, whilst being able to play as a number 10 or out wide if needed.
Roofe hit seven goals and three assists in 16 games for Anderlecht this past season, whilst he was superb in the 2018-19 campaign, smashing 15 goals and two assists for Leeds United.
Rangers are bound to be linked with strikers after that Defoe injury, and these reports in Belgium mean that Roofe is a name to keep a close eye on.
