Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants Martin Olsson at Ibrox, with Nottingham Forest also claimed to want the departing Swansea City defender.

Reported Rangers and Nottingham Forest target Martin Olsson is assessing his options, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has been reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is interested in signing Olsson, who is a free agent after leaving Swansea City in the Championship in England.

The report has claimed that the 31-year-old Sweden international left-back held talks with Rangers chiefs last week.

Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England are also poised to make an offer to the former Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers left-back, according to The Scottish Sun.

It has also been reported that the left-back is on holiday at the moment and is assessing his options.
