It has been reported that Scottish Premiership side Rangers and Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, are looking into the possibility of signing the 26-year-old Iran international left-back.
The report has added that the Gent defender will cost Leeds and Rangers €7 million (£6.31 million) in transfer fees, but that will not put off the Whites or the Gers.
Stats
According to WhoScored, Mohammadi made 17 starts and one substitute appearance in the Jupiler League for Gent this past season, scoring one goal in the process.
The Iran international also played thrice in the Europa League and twice in the cup for the Belgian club in 2019-20, according to WhoScored.
Rangers or Leeds United?
It is not going to be easy for Mohammadi to choose between Rangers and Leeds if both the clubs make offers for him this summer.
The Gers are a massive club who are determined to win the Scottish Premiership title this season and stop Celtic from making it 10 in a row.
As for Leeds, they are giants of English football and are back in the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
