Rangers are reportedly making a new move to bring Ben Woodburn to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Mail on Sunday (back page), Rangers have made a fresh approach to Liverpool about taking winger Ben Woodburn on loan this summer.
The Gers tied up their sixth summer signing last week as defender Jon Flanagan arrived, joining the likes of Allan McGregor, Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson, Scott Arfield and Ovie Ejaria at Ibrox.
Roma striker Umar Sadiq looks set to become the seventh new face to arrive at Ibrox alongside the permanent addition of loanee Jamie Murphy, and new manager Steven Gerrard isn’t done just yet.

The Scottish Mail on Sunday (back page) claim that Rangers are now turning their attention to another Liverpool talent, with Gerrard making a fresh approach to the Reds about winger Ben Woodburn.

Rangers have already taken midfielder Ejaria on loan for the season, and have now asked Liverpool again for wide man Woodburn, with Gerrard seemingly not giving up hope of landing the Welshman.
However, Liverpool legend Gerrard may need to wait for a favour from his former club, as it’s claimed that the Reds may take a few weeks to decide Woodburn’s next move as he looks to develop this season.

The 18-year-old wide man has been on the books with the Reds for 11 years, but after making just two appearances last season, it’s clear that the seven-cap Wales international needs playing time next season.
Rangers may well be able to provide that, and Gerrard will hope that Jurgen Klopp eventually allows him to take Woodburn for the season, and reunite him with Reds teammate Ejaria in Glasgow.
