According to The Athletic, Rangers and Celtic are leading Premier League clubs in the race for Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.
It’s claimed that ‘a few’ top-flight clubs in England want to sign Osayi-Samuel, whose contract with QPR expires in the summer.
The wide man can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with a non-English side now though, meaning Scottish sides have a major advantage.
Osayi-Samuel, 23, came through with Blackpool before heading to QPR in 2017, and he hasn’t looked back since his move to West London.
The Nigerian has notched three goals and three assists in 20 Championship games this season, whilst he formed a devastating tandem with Eberechi Eze last season by notching six goals and nine assists.
Capable of playing on either flank, Osayi-Samuel has blistering pace and outstanding dribbling ability, meaning he can drift past players for fun whilst being a major threat on the counter-attack.

Celtic may be favourites given that ex-QPR man Gary Penrice is part of their recruitment team, with his influence potentially vital.
Rangers can still be in the market for another winger though, with Brandon Barker and Jordan Jones having uncertain futures at Ibrox, and they would no doubt love to pip Celtic to Osayi-Samuel – especially on a free transfer.
