Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are reportedly interested in Chelsea-owned Bristol City defender Tomas Kalas.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
It has been reported that Rangers and Celtic have watched Kalas in action in recent weeks for Championship club City, where he is on loan at from Premier League club Chelsea at the moment.
The report has also claimed that the 25-year-old defender is high on the list of players that Celtic manager Neil Lennon wants in the summer of 2019.
Lennon was recently appointed as the Celtic manager until the end of the season following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that Celtic could be keen on signing the Czech Republic international, who is reported to be valued at £5 million.

Good defender
Kalas is a very good defender who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back and earns £23,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
The defender is unlikely to establish himself in the Chelsea starting lineup anytime soon, and it will make sense for him to move to Celtic or Rangers in the summer of 2019.
