The former Rangers striker looks set to bolster Steven Gerrard’s squad at Ibrox.

Rangers have agreed an undisclosed fee with Hearts for the transfer of Kyle Lafferty, according to the Daily Record.
The former Rangers striker is now said to be discussing personal terms with Steven Gerrard’s side, and could even seal his return to Ibrox today (Wednesday).
It is claimed that Lafferty is set to sign in time for the Gers to register him as a wild card in their squad to face FC Ufa in Europa League qualifying tomorrow.
Lafferty’s signing would increase Rangers’ pool of strikers to three, after Umar Sadiq and Alfredo Morelos.

The 30-year-old scored or assisted 55 goals in 134 games during his first spell at Ibrox, which lasted for four years and yielded three Scottish Premiership titles and as many domestic cups.
It had been reported that Rangers could send Lee Wallace to Hearts as part of the deal for Lafferty, although there is no mention of this in the Daily Record’s latest report.
