Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez is reportedly speaking to transfer targets about moving to St. James’ Park.

Newcastle are determined to strengthen up-front this summer, with Benitez making the addition of a number nine his top priority if he stays on.
Benitez has even started making transfer plans at Newcastle, despite not committing his future to the club.
The Spanish boss has reportedly held talks with an unnamed goalscorer, as he looks to persuade him to move to Newcastle.
Any deal for the front man is likely to depend on Benitez remaining with Newcastle, but the experienced manager is taking no chances, in case he does sign a new deal.

Benitez would be willing to stay at Newcastle if he is given the right terms, and he does not want the side to be left behind, so he is planning ahead for next campaign.
Although the identity of the striker Newcastle have spoken to is currently unclear, the Magpies have been linked with the likes of Salomon Rondon and Sebastian Haller (Chronicle).
