Newcastle United are doing well under manager Rafael Benitez at the moment.
It has also been reported that Benitez is reluctant to sign a new deal with Newcastle before the issue of the Magpies’ ownership is sorted.
Club owner Mike Ashley is claimed to be encouraging the former Liverpool manager to sign an extension to his current contract.

Benitez has done a wonderful job at Newcastle so far, with the Magpies set to remain in the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.
The St. James’ Park faithful want the former Chelsea boss to remain at the club, as they know what he brings to the table and how far he can take the team.
Newcastle have huge potential and can establish themselves among the Premier League top six or seven in the coming years if Benitez is backed in he transfer market.
The Magpies could end up in the top 10 of the Premier League this season.
