Newcastle United are currently leading the way in the Championship.
According to a report in the Chronicle, Rafael Benitez is convinced that both Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle can make an impact for Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Ritchie and Gayle were brought to Newcastle last summer from Bournemouth and Crystal Palace respectively.

The pair have been two of Newcastle’s most important players so far this season, with Benitez’s side making a wonderful start to life in the Championship.
Ritchie has already scored four goals and claimed seven assists for Newcastle, while Gayle has hit the back of the net 11 times in the second tier.

The duo’s excellent form has helped Newcastle move to the top of the Championship table.
It now looks a near certainty that the Magpies will be promoted, and Benitez is already reportedly preparing for Premier League football next season.
Benitez intends to sign a number of players if Newcastle do get back into the top flight, but Ritchie and Gayle are reportedly two players that he will keep in his first-team following promotion.
Benitez is convinced that he can build Newcastle’s attack around their talents, and the Spanish boss is certain that they have the talent to make an impact in the Premier League, should he guide the Tynesiders to promotion this term.
