Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly keen on Lyon attacker Rachid Ghezzal.
According to France Football, as noted by Get French Football News, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are both looking into moves for Lyon ace Rachid Ghezzal.
Ghezzal, 24, joined hometown club Lyon at the age of just five, and has made his way up through the ranks with the French giants over the years.

Having made his debut for the club in October 2012, Ghezzal has gone on to become a key player for the Ligue 1 side, hitting ten goals and nine assists in all competitions to generate major summer interest in his signature.
Everton were keen to sign Ghezzal over the summer, but the player was recently quoted by RMC Sport as saying that a move to Goodison Park was less interesting for him than staying with Lyon.

The problem for Lyon is that Ghezzal’s contract expires at the end of the season, and with no progress on a new deal, Lyon leave themselves open to either losing Ghezzal on a pre-contract agreement, or in a cut-price deal.
Pre-contract rules state that, in the final six months of a player’s contract, they can agree a deal with another club and move on a future date – and Ghezzal will be available in such a deal in January.
Now, Get French Football cite claims from an edition of French publication France Football which state that Ghezzal is still generating Premier League interest, with Liverpool and Tottenham believed to be keen.

A quick, skilful winger with an eye for goal, Ghezzal would give Mauricio Pochettino another option out wide at Tottenham, even though he already swooped for a Ligue 1 winger in August by signing Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille.
Meanwhile, Liverpool need an attacking option given Danny Ings’ latest injury, but Ghezzal can’t be seen as cover for Sadio Mane whilst he’s playing for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations in 2017, as Ghezzal will be in action for Algeria too, meaning he may be more of a pre-contract option for Liverpool, much like Joel Matip was earlier this year.
