Queens Park Rangers are desperate to add another striker to their squad during the January transfer window.

According to a report on Get West London, Queens Park Rangers are set to launch a ‘surprise bid’ to sign Hugo Rodallega in the January transfer window.

Rodallega, who has previously played for both Wigan Athletic and Fulham during his time in English football, is currently playing for Akhisar Belediyespor.

The 31-year-old has scored four goals so far this season, and QPR reportedly feel he is the answer to their goalscoring problems.

Rangers have a lack of striking options in their current squad, with most of their forward players struggling to score with any regularity.

The likes of Idrissa Sylla, Sebastian Polter and Conor Washington have all struggled for form so far this season at Loftus Road.

As a result, Ian Holloway is eager to add another attacker to his squad at QPR in the January transfer window, and Rodallega is on his wishlist.

It is claimed that QPR are now lining up a bid, and a transfer is possible, as Rodallega’s contract with Akhisar is due to expire at the end of the season.
