Queens Park Rangers are keen on Motherwell winger Marvin Johnson, the Daily Mail reports (via BBC Sport Gossip Column).
Former non league star Johnson scored five goals and made another eight in last season’s Scottish Premiership and HITC sources understand he is also of interest to Old Firm pair Celtic and Rangers, as well as Heart of the Midlothian.
However, the recent departure of Matt Phillips to West Bromwich Albion, not to mention the expiry of Junior Hoilett’s contract, has also left QPR in need of wing reinforcements.

Unlike the aforementioned pair, Johnson is a natural left footer and is competent on both flanks as well as in central midfield.
The 25-year-old has seen his reputation surge following his arrival at Fir Park from then National League side Kidderminster Harriers in February 2015, and a move to England’s second tier could be tough to turn down.
R’s boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is looking to rebuild the former Premier League side on a budget this summer, and while it is unclear how much Motherwell would want for Johnson, he is likely to cost a fraction of the £5 million fee reportedly received for Phillips.
