Everton have made a move for the talented youngster, but QPR want to hang onto him.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has been dealt a setback in the club’s pursuit of Queens Park Rangers winger Josh Bowler, with QPR rebuffing an offer of up to £3m, as reports Sky Sports.
The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract with the club in February and made his debut for the club in their final day 4-0 thumping away at Norwich City, with Bowler playing the final 21 minutes of that fixture.
It seems that Everton had been keeping a closer eye on the player’s progress than QPR perhaps anticipated, as just mere days after the Toffees’ Premier League season finished, a bid was lodged for Bowler’s services.
Sky Sports believe that the bid was £1.5m up front in cash, and then a further £1.5m in add-ons, but QPR have rejected that and are very reluctant to let Bowler depart for Goodison Park.

Everton are seemingly scanning the lower leagues for talent a lot more frequently these days, with the club signing League One side Charlton Athletic’s Ademola Lookman in January, and they obviously feel that Bowler is someone worth chasing up.
Whether or not they return with another bid remains to be seen, but it seems that QPR boss Ian Holloway may have to pull something out the bag to prevent Bowler, who was released by Fulham in 2013, from moving north to Merseyside.
