West Bromwich Albion are the latest club to be linked with the Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder, after Middlesbrough.
Queens Park Rangers’ Luke Freeman is wanted by West Bromwich Albion, according to the Sunday Mirror (page 74).
The attacking midfielder is said to be valued at £3 million by QPR, for whom he scored five goals and assisted 10 in the Championship last season.
And West Brom could face competition from Middlesbrough to sign Freeman, with Boro mulling a bid for him according to a separate report by the same publication.
Freeman only moved to QPR from Bristol City 18 months ago, having previously been on Arsenal’s books, and still has two years left on his contract at Loftus Road.
Of the two clubs, Middlesbrough could be in greater need than West Brom of a player like Freeman, having seen two attacking midfielders, Jack Harrison and Lewis Baker, return to their parent clubs at the end of last season.
And Boro could still lose Adama Traore to West Brom’s rivals, Wolves, according to reports.
