Queens Park Rangers are likely to be on the hunt for a new striker over the summer, following Steve McClaren’s appointment.

According to a report in the Telegraph, Queens Park Rangers are likely to make a move for Derby County striker Chris Martin in the summer.

Derby are set to offload many of their higher earning players in the coming months, after missing out on promotion this term

Martin is one of the players who the Telegraph feel could leave, and QPR are considered a probable destination.

Rangers have just put Steve McClaren in charge at Loftus Road, and he is known to be a big fan of Martin.

McClaren has always spoken very highly of Martin, after working with the 29-year-old at Derby a few years back.

QPR are on the look out for new additions over the summer, and a striker is likely to be high on their wishlist.
