According to a report in the London Evening Standard, Queens Park Rangers have Ollie Watkins on their radar this summer.
Exeter City forward Watkins looks set to leave the League Two club in the coming months, after impressing over the past season.
Watkins has been tasked with being Exeter’s main attacking weapon, despite only being 20-years-old, and he has coped with the responsibility well.
Watkins fired in 16 goals as Exeter made their way to the League Two play off final, where they were beaten by Blackpool.
The creative forward has now been linked with a host of Championship clubs, with QPR the latest to show an interest.
Exeter will be looking for a big fee for Watkins, if they are to sell, so question marks remain over whether Ian Holloway’s side could afford the forward.
If Watkins does move to QPR, he would be in competitions with the likes of Matt Smith and Conor Washington for a first-team place.
