Queens Park Rangers are eager to snap up Luke Freeman from Bristol City
According to a report in the Bristol Post, Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway is desperate to land Bristol City attacking midfielder Luke Freeman in the coming weeks.
QPR have already had one bid rejected for Freeman, but Holloway wants to make an improved offer.
The Rangers boss believes that Freeman has the quality to improve his attacking line-up at Loftus Road.
Bristol City are understood to be under no pressure to sell, but their bargaining position is not a strong one.
Freeman’s contract expires at the end of the season, meaning this could be the Robins’ last chance to receive any money for the 24-year-old.
QPR believe that they have a chance of completing a deal, with Freeman sitting near the top of Holloway’s transfer wishlist.
Freeman has made 21 appearances for Lee Johnson’s side so far this season, and he has scored on two occasions.
