Queens Park Rangers have lost their last six Championship games and finding the back of the net is clearly the main problem.

A report in The Irish Sun has suggested that Queens Park Rangers are amongst the list of Championship sides currently monitoring Millwall striker Aiden O’Brien.

The Irish Sun reports that Fulham, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic have joined the Hoops in scouting the 23-year-old, who is enjoying a promising season for the League One side.

O’Brien has scored 10 times in all competitions, including eight goals in 21 league outings, and The Irish Sun reports that bids of £750,000 could be on their way from the Championship quartet.

But based on their recent form, QPR boss Ian Holloway will certainly be hoping that he wins the race for his signature if he is interested enough to make a move.

The Loftus Road outfit’s major problem in recent weeks has been finding the back of the net. The side’s defeat to Brighton on Tuesday has extended their losing run to six games, and during that time they have scored just once and have not scored in any of their last four.

And while Conor Washington’s struggles since his move from the third tier to QPR last January would make it foolish to expect O’Brien to hit the ground running, it is fair to say that Holloway needs to try something to stop their alarming side down the table.
