Queens Park Rangers are reportedly lining up for move Exeter City winger David Wheeler.

According to reports from The Mirror (transfer live blog; 05:50), Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers are plotting move for Exeter City winger, David Wheeler.

One of the major areas where Queens Park Rangers need to bolster this summer is in their attacking department.

Ian Holloway’s side are in desperate need of some creative flair, and it hasn’t been easy for them to attract players from either Premier League or from fellow Championship rival clubs.

Attacking midfielders, especially if they are goal scoring midfielders, do not come in cheap.

Holloway has looked further down the league to add players of substantial quality, and are plotting move for the 26-year-old winger.

Wheeler joined League Two outfit Exeter City in 2013 from Staines Town, and has been a key player for them ever since.

Last season was his best, as he bagged 20 goals in all competitions, and further laying off six for others.

QPR have made a decent start to their 2017/18 EFL campaign, having won two of their opening four games, and drawing one.
