Queens Park Rangers are keen to sign Brighton and Hove Albion striker Glenn Murray and bring an end to his ill-fated loan spell at Watford, according to The Athletic.

Even at 37, the veteran target man is more than capable of finding the net regularly in the second tier.
And while he has lost a yard or two of pace, Murray remains a lethal penalty-box presence and a popular figure on and off the pitch in professional football.
Murray won the Championship Golden Boot during a 30-goal season with Crystal Palace in 2012/13 and fired Brighton to promotion four years later.
As recently as 2018/19, the late-blooming number nine found the net 13 times in the Premier League as a more direct, physical Brighton team retained their top-flight status under Chris Hughton.
Hughton’s departure and the subsequent arrival of Graham Potter, who prefers a more modern, possession-based approach, saw Murray fall out of favour at the Amex.
Brighton loaned the club legend to Watford over the summer but, after just five goalless appearances for the Hornets, Murray looks to be on the move again this January.
A QPR side who have scored just 20 goals in 22 matches are determined to strike a short-term agreement, believing that Murray is capable of putting away the chances created by Ilias Chair and Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Rangers legend Ian Holloway would certainly give this deal his seal of approval, describing Murray as ‘outstanding‘ during their time together at Crystal Palace.
