Queens Park Rangers will reportedly battle Swansea City and Reading for Barnsley full-back Andy Yiadom.

A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that QPR will battle Reading and Swansea for the signature of Barnsley full-back Andy Yiadom.
The 25-year-old joined the Tykes on a free transfer last summer (via Mirror). But despite playing in the Conference and then League Two in the two years immediately before his Oakwell switch, he has adapted brilliantly to life in the Championship.
Yiadom – who made his debut for Ghana during this year’s Africa Cups of Nations – made 32 league appearances for Paul Heckingbottom’s men, helping them register a solid mid-table finish that, at one stage, threatened to be something much more impressive.
Unsurprisingly therefore, his form has attracted the attention of several sides, with the Mirror reporting that QPR are ready to rival second tier rivals Reading and top flight Swansea City for a deal.

It would arguably be a coup for the Hoops if they manage to see off the competition and bag his signature this summer given where they finished in comparison with the other two sides reportedly plotting a move.
And if he does move to Loftus Road and is able to replicate the form he has shown since his switch to Barnsley, then he would arguably prove to be a tremendous addition to Ian Holloway’s squad.
