Bouanga spent the 2016/17 season on loan with Ligue 2 side Tours, where he enjoyed a superb campaign, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances.

GWL reports that along with interest from QPR, the Gabon midfielder is said to be attracting attention from French Ligue 1 side AS Saint Etienne.

Championship club Barnsley are also reportedly interested in the midfielder, whose form this season earned him a call up to Gabon’s African Cup of Nations squad.

The report adds that competition for Bouanga is high. Lorient is open to offers for the player who is known for his pace and trickery.

He has a contract till 2019, and therefore Lorient can demand a reasonable transfer fee for the midfielder.
