Queens Park Rangers are reportedly keen on Portsmouth Kenny Jackett.

According to Sky Sports, Queens Park Rangers insiders are hoping they can wait until the summer in order to appoint Portsmouth’s Kenny Jackett as their new manager.
The R’s parted ways with Steve McClaren on Monday, sacking the former England boss after a home defeat to lowly Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
With just one win in the last 14 games, McClaren’s side have been in truly dismal form, and he leaves with the club eight points clear of the Championship relegation zone.
A host of names have already been linked with the job, and whilst permanent managers are being considered right now, the club appear to have their eyes on a summer arrival.
Sky Sports claim that club insiders have told them that they are hoping to wait until the end of the season in order to lure Portsmouth boss Jackett back to Loftus Road.
Jackett, 57, spent three years as QPR assistant boss before heading on to Swansea City in 2004, carving out a fairly successful managerial career for himself.

Jackett has won more than 50% of his games in charge of Portsmouth since taking charge in 2017, and clinched the Checkatrade Trophy with a shootout win over Sunderland on Sunday.
Portsmouth fans love him, and leaving Fratton Park may only be a possibility if Pompey don’t win promotion back to the Championship this season, meaning QPR face a gamble if they’re planning to wait like the ‘insiders’ claim.
