Queens Park Rangers are in talks to sign Andre Dozzell from Ipswich Town but, according to West London Sport, Macauley Bonne is not heading in the other direction.
The much-maligned Paul Lambert didn’t often strike a tone with those increasingly disillusioned Ipswich supporters. But, when discussing the future of the club’s Anglian-born midfield dynamo, the former Tractor Boys boss certainly had the Portman Road faithful on his side.
“(He will cost) a hell of a lot of money,” Lambert told the Pink ‘Un.
Is Andre Dozzell heaing to Queens Park Rangers?
It is not certain, at this stage, how much QPR are willing to pay to sign the 22-year-old during the upcoming transfer window.
Dozzell only signed a new, long-term contract in December, meaning the former England U20 international should still command a sizeable transfer fee even if Ipswich’s hand has been weakened by another season of third-tier football.

West London Sport claims that QPR have entered talks over a deal that will see Dozzell swap the wide open spaces of East Anglia for the hustle and bustle of capital.
TWTD backs up those claims, reporting that Mark Warburton’s Rangers are leading the chase for a man who has also been linked with Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers and Brentford.
Striker Macauley Bonne had been tipped to go in the other direction but it is understood those reports are wide of the mark.
Interestingly, QPR have also been tipped to sign another League One ace in the shape of Charlton Athletic hot-shot Chuks Aneke, while the Rangers-linked Scott Twine has turned down a new contract at recently-relegated Swindon Town.
